THE RECRUITING PROCESS

SCA’s unique process for preparing prospective student-athletes involves an integrated approach to developing the academic, athletic and personal elements of our student-athletes to provide them with the best possible platform to succeed.

We break the process into four simple steps:

Evaluation, Preparation, Promotion and Decision and guide you through each step to ensure a successful outcome. Refer to the phases below for more detail on what is involved in each stage of the process.

OUR FOUR PHASES

SCA strives to nurture student-athletes through the college admissions process in order to provide the optimal outcome for them to pursue their athletic ambitions. Our consultants have first-hand experience competing and studying in the US college system and can provide unparalleled insight into the college recruitment process.

SCA’s unique process for preparing prospective student-athletes involves an integrated personal approach to developing the academic, athletic and personal elements of our student-athletes to provide them with the best possible platform to succeed. We achieve this through our process that breaks the recruiting journey down into four phases.

Phase 1 - Evaluation

The first step of the recruiting process is to book a meeting with an SCA consultant to understand your academic and athletic background and aspirations. The initial meeting is a short informational interview to get to know you better and find out what's most important to you in regard to the sporting environment, the location, your budget expectations and your ideal location.

Phase 4 - Decision

The most exciting part of the recruitment process is deciding which program to commit to. The SCA team will assist in reviewing scholarship offers and identifying the best fit for you. Once you have committed to a college the SCA team can assist in completing the admission process and fulfilling Visa requirements. From here the relationship doesn't stop and we are more than happy to continue communication and provide support in the states, when and where is necessary.

Phase 3 - Promotion

The promotion phase involves connecting the prospective student-athlete with SCA's unique network of coaches. SCA connects the student-athlete with interested coaches and assists in preparing for college coach interviews. We employ an intelligent marketing strategy to maximise opportunity for student-athletes and have firsthand experience navigating the US college recruitment process.

Phase 2 - Preparation

Following a successful evaluation process SCA will offer you a position to become an SCA athlete. This initiates the all important preparation phase and involves collecting information to identify your strengths and weaknesses and begins your personal game plan for the recruiting process. The primary steps in the Preparation Phase include; building an athletic profile, collecting video highlights to create a highlight package, mindset coaching and S&C workshops and preparing for the SAT exam.
